Senior Seminar

My Senior Seminar project was a massive undertaking that myself and three other majors completed in the spring semester of 2017. We worked as a team to produce a new welcome video for the John & Annie Glenn Museum in New Concord, Ohio. We traveled all around the nation collecting video and photos to use, as well as, doing copious amounts of research. We also worked closely with staff from the museum through the scripting process. In total we traveled a cumulative 1,400 miles and ended up with over 100 gigs of data and put it in a 20 minute long video. You can view the full video by going to the museum, but here is a trailer that we also produced.

The final project received 4th place for Best Documentary/Public affairs at the 2017 College Broadcasters Inc. National Student Production awards.

As for my role, I was the head editor on the team. I constructed the majority of the main sequence using Avid Media Composer. I was also the only one who traveled all 1,400 miles. Over all, it was a crazy and tiring experience, but the end product really speaks for itself.
