During my last semester I took a fun class that taught video filming technique and editing. We had to produce news stories for the TV station every other week. But we also got to have fun with it on a few occasions. We also talked about film and watched a movie. The book for the class was called “How to Shoot Video that Doesn’t Suck” by Steve Stockman, which was a good read.
In this news package I previewed the upcoming 2017 WMCO Weekend.
For our final project we got to film a short video of our own creation and worked in groups. Below is my groups final project which was fun to make but took a ton of effort. We spent 12 hours filming alone.
In class we also did a video shoot called “A Muskie Takes A walk” which I took a fun spin on.
In this news package I did a feature about the Cru chapter on campus.
